The Gas Company Tower

Located in the prestigious Bunker Hill District, The Gas Company Tower is an award-winning, Class A architectural landmark in the iconic Los Angeles skyline. With its glass fins at street level and “boat” shape in the upper bank, the 52-story glass line stands out as a beacon of modernism among the neighboring historic buildings.
Designed by Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill and completed in 1991, the building features 1.4 million square feet of office space, the highest quality institutional finishes, and the most efficient floor plan in the market. The Gas Company Tower’s stepped and tapered silhouette emphasizes its towering height, culminating in an elliptical crown on the top. A dramatic entry porch provides access to a retail corridor and escalators leading directly to the main lobby.

Painted on the adjacent AT&T building and spanning 300 feet, Frank Stella’s mural, Dusk, is one of the world's largest abstract murals. The mural was commissioned for The Gas Company Tower and can be seen from Pershing Square, downtown streets and through the lobby and office windows of The Gas Company Tower.

The Gas Company Tower offers convenient access to public transportation such as the DASH DTLA transit service and Metro Red Line station located at Pershing Square. Brookfield Properties also offers a shuttle between the World Trade Center Parking Garage and The Gas Company Tower, as well as to the Staples Center and Music Center events from The Wells Fargo Center building located on South Hope Street between 3rd Street & 4th Street.

We deliver the highest quality of services to our tenants. By utilizing the Angus Anywhere software platform to respond to tenant service requests, our customer service representatives manage service and maintenance requests 24/7.
Whether a light is out, or experiencing a power issue, dealing with a small spill or a large leak, tenants can be assured that their service requests will be resolved quickly and thoroughly. Available in app, online and by phone, submitting service requests is quick and simple.

Our security teams are led by professionals with years of frontline experience in security, policing and fire protection and prevention. Know that when you’re at The Gas Company Tower we have your safety and security in mind. We’ve already thought of what could go wrong be it fire, theft or pandemic and planned for it. So you don’t have to.
As a cornerstone of our emergency management planning, we offer the highest level of prevention measures. Through long-term planning and the use of enhanced technology, our team works to address the ever-changing security and life safety needs of our properties.
At all of our properties we offer security at your fingertips. Integrated with axiis, the LiveSafe mobile platform gives app users the opportunity to report incidents and emergencies safely and securely. Whether being stuck in an elevator or encountering suspicious activity, tenants can speak directly to a security guard and receive updates about the incident report. The process is simple and intuitive. We take the well-being of our tenants and partners seriously, that’s why we put security at their fingertips.

Parking at The Gas Company Tower
Our collection of parking amenities is designed to ensure a comfortable start and end to the work commute. Bright and spacious parking garage and bike storage facilities, complimentary services, and eco-friendly options, will welcome patrons to a whole new class of parking.
Parking at The Gas Company Tower is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. The entrance to the Parking Garage is located on Olive Street between 4th Street and 5th Street. The entrance is clearly marked by the parking signage on the exterior of the Building.
There are a number of Security measures in place at The Gas Company Tower Parking Garage, including, but not limited to, security gates and secured keycard access.
The garage also offers a secured Bike Storage Room accessible via keycard access that includes essential bike repair tools.
